Bio

It is my privilege and joy to be your child’s first grade teacher.  I have
great expectations for a year full of learning and growing.  I look forward
to getting to know you better as we work together to assure your child’s
success in school.

I thought it might be helpful to tell you a bit about myself.   I live in
Chesterfield Township with my husband, our two wonderful sons, and our golden retriever and siberian husky.  I love the outdoors (my first degree being from Central Michigan University in Outdoor Recreation and Natural Resources), and I love working with children (causing me to pursue my second bachelors in Elementary Education from Oakland University majoring in Language Arts and Science, and completed my Masters in Early Childhood education through Saginaw Valley State University).  

 

 I have been a part of the Anchor Bay Family since I began my student teaching in 2001.  I have taught at Ashley, and MacDonald, and am delighted that I have planted my feet for a sixth year working with the great staff and families of Sugarbush.
