BigFuture School and Connections
All grade 10 & 11 students will have an opportunity to sign up for BigFuture School and Connections. BigFuture School is a free mobile app that lets students view their scores and get customized career information and guidance about planning and paying for college. Available through the BigFuture School app, ConnectionsTM is a free program exclusively for school day test takers that allows them to hear from nonprofit colleges and scholarship programs that may be a good match. If you would prefer that your student NOT sign up for BigFuture School and Connections, please fill out the opt out form below. Filling out the form allows you to opt your student out of providing optional information that is not directly related to the administration of these assessments.
PSAT/SAT Week - Week of April 7th, 2025
Attention Juniors: Testing season is right around the corner! Please be sure to be arrive early as testing will start on time! All juniors are required to take the SAT, ACT Work Keys, and MSTEP. Dates will be provided when available!
Please be aware that you are required to take all 3 tests and that you may miss early college, dual enrollment or other special programs on these days. Keep in mind that cell phones and smart watches will not be allowed in testing areas. In addition, no food or drink will be allowed in the testing area as well.
- April 9, 2025 - Juniors SAT and Sophomores PSAT 10 (7:19am - 12:45pm)
- April 10, 2025 - Juniors ACT Work Keys and Freshman PSAT 9 (7:19am - 11:30am)

Juniors - You will be reporting to the ABHS gymnasium/Aux Gymnasium. An exact location will be posted the week of testing.
Freshman & Sophomores - You will be reporting to a designated classroom. An exact location for each student will be posted the week of testing.

MISD Student SAT Prep Workshops
The MISD is pleased to announce the return of the Student SAT Prep Workshop! Each year we receive positive feedback from both students and parents regarding how helpful this workshop is!
The Student SAT Prep Workshop is designed for juniors who are getting ready to take the spring SAT exam. The workshop will be held in-person at the MISD, and there are multiple dates offered to accommodate busy schedules.
Workshop dates to choose from:
- January 25, 2025
- February 8, 2025
- March 8, 2025
- March 15, 2025
Registration includes a copy of the College Board SAT Study Guide and lunch.
